Privacy
How we handle the data you trust us with.
In short
A short, plain-language explanation of what we collect, what we do with it, and what we will not do with it. Built around one rule: your data is yours, we are a custodian.
Effective 28 April 2026
01
Scope
Who this applies to
This Privacy Policy explains how ProjektAnalytics Pvt. Ltd. handles personal information across three surfaces: our marketing website, the ProjektAnalytics platform, and the analytics engagements we run for customers.
For customer engagements we typically act as a data processor on behalf of the customer, who is the controller. For our website and direct marketing, we act as the controller.
02
What We Collect
Information we receive
From the website. Contact details you submit through forms — name, work email, company, phone, the message itself — along with technical metadata such as IP address, user agent, and basic analytics events.
From the platform. Account credentials, the configuration you set up, and the data you choose to connect or upload — for example event logs, customer attributes, transaction records, or marketing spend.
From engagements. The datasets your team shares for a project, written briefs, calls, and emails. We collect only what the engagement requires.
03
How We Use It
Purposes of processing
We use the information to deliver and operate the Services, secure our systems, communicate about the engagement, send invoices, and improve our product and methodology in aggregate.
We do not sell personal information. We do not use customer data to train shared third-party models. We do not use customer data for advertising.
04
Legal Basis
Why processing is lawful
Where applicable laws — including India's Digital Personal Data Protection Act, the EU/UK GDPR, or other regimes — require a legal basis, we rely on contract performance for delivering the Services, legitimate interests for securing and improving them, consent for optional marketing, and legal obligation where the law requires retention or disclosure.
05
Sharing
Who we share information with
We share information with vetted sub-processors who help us run the Services — cloud hosting, email delivery, error monitoring, calendar and meeting tools, and payment processing. Each is bound by a written agreement with confidentiality and security obligations.
We may disclose information when required by a lawful order, to protect our rights, or in connection with a corporate transaction. We will tell affected customers where we are not legally restrained from doing so.
06
International Transfers
Where data lives
We primarily host customer data in cloud regions located in India. Where data is transferred to or processed in another country — for example by a sub-processor — we ensure appropriate safeguards are in place, including contractual commitments to protect the information at the standard required by applicable law.
07
Retention
How long we keep things
We keep customer data for the duration of the engagement and for a short period afterwards to allow handover and recovery. On request, we delete or return customer data within thirty days of contract termination, subject to any legal retention obligation.
Website inquiry data is retained for up to twenty-four months unless you ask us to delete it sooner. Financial and tax records are kept for the period mandated by Indian law.
08
Security
How we protect information
We use a layered set of technical and organisational measures — encryption in transit and at rest, role-based access, audit logging, regular dependency review, least-privilege engineering practices, and onboarding under a strict confidentiality obligation.
No system is perfectly secure. If we ever discover a personal data breach that is likely to affect you, we will notify you and the relevant authorities within the timelines required by law.
09
Your Rights
What you can ask us to do
Depending on your jurisdiction, you may have the right to access, correct, export, or delete your personal information; to withdraw consent; to object to certain processing; and to lodge a complaint with a data protection authority.
For requests about engagement data, we will route you to the customer who is the controller. For website and direct marketing data, write to info@projektanalytics.com.
10
Cookies
Tracking on our website
We use a small set of cookies and similar technologies to keep the site working and to understand traffic in aggregate. We do not use third-party advertising cookies. You can block cookies in your browser; the site will still function with limited analytics.
11
Children
Not for children
Our Services are designed for organisations and are not directed to children under the age of eighteen. We do not knowingly collect information from children. If you believe a child has shared information with us, contact us and we will remove it.
12
Changes
Updates to this Policy
We may revise this Privacy Policy as our practices evolve. When the change is material we will update the effective date above and notify active customers. Continued use of the Services after an update means you accept the revised policy.
